Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. seeks an Electrical Infrastructure Engineer / Technical Specialist with 5-7 years of experience in electrical power distribution and facility assessments.

You will independently conduct site assessments, review electrical drawings, and prepare client-ready reports for data centers and other critical facilities. The role emphasizes field work, coordination with utilities, and applying NEC/NFPA 70 and IEEE standards, with travel and strong documenting skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience with electrical power distribution, utility infrastructure, or facility electrical assessments.
• Ability to independently conduct facility assessments and site inspections.
• Experience preparing professional technical reports documenting conditions, findings, and recommendations.
• Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70 and IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical infrastructure assessments of commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities.
• Evaluate medium- and low-voltage distributions and equipment (switchgear, switchboards, transformers, breakers, panels, feeders).
• Review single-line diagrams and equipment drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate with utility reps, clients, and teams to obtain information and evaluate infrastructure.
• Prepare client-ready technical reports and photo/documentation of assessments.
