Strive Solutions seeks an Electrical / I&C Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of utility-scale energy facilities by designing, analyzing, and maintaining electrical and I&C systems for generation and related assets.

The role involves developing calculations and drawings, configuring control systems, supporting protective relaying, and collaborating across operations, maintenance, and project teams to drive reliability and compliance with NERC, IEEE, and NEC standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and I&C/control system principles.
• Ability to produce and validate engineering calculations and drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting control systems and supporting protective relaying.
• Working knowledge of NERC, IEEE, NEC and related compliance requirements.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering calculations and engineering drawings for electrical and I&C systems.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems.
• Support protective relaying and power distribution systems.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support system upgrades to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to support field and engineering needs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable reliability, safety, and electrical standards (e.g., NERC, IEEE, NEC) and internal requirements.
• Contribute to reliability, safety, and sustainability initiatives across the asset fleet.
