Job summary

HM STAFFING SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking an Electrical Helper to support licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems in Columbia, SC.

You will pull wire, run conduit, set fixtures, load tools, keep the site clean, and follow safety standards while taking direction from journeymen.

A high school diploma or GED is required; basic hand-tool knowledge and the ability to lift 50 lbs are essential; OSHA 10 is preferred.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction practices
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Must be able to follow instructions and work well in a team

Preferred:

• Previous experience as an electrical helper or in construction
• Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program
• OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
