Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Williamsburg, VA, is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support journeyman electricians on commercial projects.

You will assist with conduit, wiring, and material handling, perform wire pulls, work from ladders, and follow safety policies. Travel may be required. A HS diploma or GED and OSHA-10 are required, with background/MVR checks as applicable.

Qualifications

• 6 months electrical experience or more
• High School Diploma or GED
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Pre-employment background check and MVR check as required

Job Summary

• Assistscommercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pullsand other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.

Specific Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months recent electrical experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
