Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Auburn, Alabama is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians and perform various tasks including mounting conduits, wires and strapping.

Travel may be required; OSHA-10 or ability to obtain, background and MVR checks as required, and compliance with safety policies are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
