Job summary

SkillSeek Jobs is seeking motivated Electrical Helpers and Junior Mechanics to join our growing commercial electrical team in New York City. You will work alongside experienced electricians on ground-up developments, tenant fit-outs, renovations, and redevelopment projects across all five boroughs.

Responsibilities include rough-in and finish electrical installations, pulling wire, installing conduit and lighting, organizing tools, and maintaining a safe jobsite while following project drawings

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of electrical or construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 and/or SST Card preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Reliable transportation to NYC jobsites.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Basic hand tools preferred.

• Install lighting fixtures, switches, receptacles, and basic electrical devices.
• Organize tools, materials, and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
• Follow project drawings and foreman direction.
• Work alongside other trades to keep projects moving.
• Follow OSHA and site safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
