EK Machine Co., based in Fall River, WI, is hiring an Electrical Helper to support installation and assembly of generator electrical systems. This entry-level role offers hands-on growth in manufacturing, industrial settings, and power generation environments.

You will install conduit, wiring, control panels, and electrical components from blueprints, assist electricians with troubleshooting, and work with hand and power tools on a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of electrical or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, instructions, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and basic math skills.
• Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Effective communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical conduit, wiring, switches, control panels, and related components.
• Follow electrical drawings and work instructions to complete projects accurately.
• Assist electricians with troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements.
• Assemble enclosures, tanks, and mechanical/electrical components using hand and power tools.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and aerial lifts as needed.
• Use electrical testing devices to ensure quality and functionality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete assignments efficiently and in accordance with safety regulations.

Job Summary:

We are hiring an Electrical Helper to join our team supporting the installation and assembly of generator electrical systems. This is a great opportunity for candidates with entry-level electrical experience looking to grow in manufacturing, industrial, or power generation environments.

This role involves installing conduit, wiring, control panels, and electrical components, following blueprints and schematics, and assisting with troubleshooting and repairs. • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods in an industrial work setting
• Industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and airborne particles
