Job summary

AXISCADES is seeking an Electrical Harness Engineer to design, model, and detail wiring harness assemblies using Creo and related tools. The role covers harness flattening, routing, and schematic creation, plus component selection and standards compliance.

You will contribute to mechanical design interfacing with sheet metal and plastics, ensure GD&T and ASME adherence, and work with TeamCenter for data management and BOMs. Join AXISCADES’ engineering team in a fulltime position.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical Wiring Harness Design, Modeling and Detailing of Harness using Creo, Creo Cabling, Creo Schematics, Pro Diagram or any software.
• Experience in Flattening of Harness and Cables and respective Routings.
• Experience in Electrical Schematic diagrams.
• Experience in Selection of components like Connectors, Terminals, Wires, Relays, Fuses etc.
• Planning and optimizing the routing concepts and finalizing the Harness.
• Experience in Mechanical product Design and Detailing of Sheet Metal, Plastic, Castings drawings using Creo or any software.
• Should have knowledge on Weldings, GD&T and ASME standards.
• Knowledge on TeamCenter.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electrical harness assemblies and detailed harness layouts.
• Create and review wiring diagrams and schematics for harnesses.
• Select and validate components (connectors, terminals, wires, relays, fuses).
• Plan routing concepts and optimize harness layouts for manufacturability.
• Model mechanical parts and harness elements using Creo and related tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure GD&T application and ASME standards in designs.
• Utilize TeamCenter for BOMs and data management.
