Job summary

RFA Engineering is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Dubuque team onsite at a world-class facility. You will design wiring harness systems for off-highway equipment, routing, configuring, and integrating wires and components with cross-functional teams.

You will use Creo, ProCable and Capital Harness to create and modify designs, participate in design reviews, and support manufacturing through launches. A BS in engineering and strong problem solving are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to thrive in a team environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies.

Responsibilities

Route and develop wiring harnesses while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet design standards and integration guidelines.
Create designs using Creo, ProCable and Capital Harness Systems.
Participate in print reviews and formal design reviews to support new product development.
Support manufacturing and assembly teams during build and launch of new model designs.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues on prototype and production machines.
Review and approve two-dimensional harness drawings and coordinate with supplier design practices.
