Job summary

Programmers is seeking an Electrical Harness Design Engineer for aerospace seating, onsite at Irving, TX. Responsibilities include designing 3D harness routing and installation models for seating programs, and interfacing with customers during reviews and prototype builds.

The ideal candidate has 4 years of experience in electrical harness design, a BSEE or equivalent, and strong CATIA V5 skills, with knowledge of ECN/ECR and Teamcenter PLM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience in electrical harness design, preferably for aircraft seating.
• Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, GSD, Sheet Metal).
• Experience with electrical schematic, block diagrams, harness routing, cable length definition and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop 3D electrical harness routing and installation models for aircraft seating programs.
• Support customer interactions, design reviews, prototype builds and production activities.
• Understanding of electrical-mechanical integration, sheet metal brackets, and manufacturing feasibility.

Title: Electrical Harness Design Engineer – Aerospace Seating(Economy/Business class Seats)

Location: Onsite to Irving, TX

Duration: Full time with all the benefits

• Design and develop 3D electrical harness routing and installation models for aircraft seating programs.
• 4 years of experience in electrical harness design, preferably for Business Class seats.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, GSD, Sheet Metal).
• Experience in electrical schematic, block diagrams, harness routing, cable length definition, and production documentation.
• Knowledge of PLM/Teamcenter with ECN/ECR processes preferred.
• Support customer interactions, design reviews, prototype builds, and production activities.
• Understanding of electrical-mechanical integration, sheet metal brackets, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Knowledge of 3D PDF creation is an added advantage.
