Job summary

Technibus, Inc. is seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Canton, OH.

You will install electrical gear and switchgear components according to engineering drawings and work instructions, reading blueprints and specifications with precision. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and specifications.
• Install electrical gear and switchgear components per drawings and work instructions.
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and other devices.
• Use hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, impact drivers and other equipment.
• Install and secure nuts, bolts, brackets and mechanical hardware to spec.
• Perform mechanical assembly while adhering to quality and production standards.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and resolve fit or assembly concerns.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
