Job summary

Northbridge University is hiring instructors to teach Electrical Trades courses across our campuses. Classes run Monday to Thursday, mornings or evenings to fit students' schedules.

Qualified applicants will hold a Journeyman or Electrical Contractors License; NCCER certification is a plus, and experience mentoring apprentices is preferred. Proficiency with LMS and computing is required.

Qualifications

• Specialized training and industry certifications in electrical trades required.
• Journeyman license and/or electrical contractor license required.
• Two or more years of teaching experience preferred or mentoring apprentices.
• NCCER certification as an Electrician is a plus.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and computing for course materials.

Responsibilities

• Teach Electrical Trades courses according to schedule.
• Manage course documents and resources in the LMS.
• Mentor and provide hands‑on guidance to students/apprentices.
• Participate in program development and student assessments.

Education

Journeyman license / Electrical Contractors license

NCCER Certification (Electrician)

Teaching experience or apprentice mentorship

Proficiency with LMS / computer usage
