Job summary

RTX in Melbourne, FL is seeking a disciplined engineer to contribute to ASIC/FPGA/MPSoC digital architecture. You will capture requirements, decompose, and produce RTL and testbenches in VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog, and perform placement, timing, and verification activities.

The role involves DO-254 certification artifacts and working with DO-254 processes, with collaboration across global teams. A Bachelor's in STEM and experience with FPGA tools and scripting are required; relocation benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained prior to start.
• Experience writing RTL and testbenches using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• Experience using FPGA specific tools (e.g. Questasim, Vivado, Libero, Synplify Pro, etc.).
• Experience with Linux (or Unix), scripting, C/C++, Python, and/or Perl.

Responsibilities

• You will do requirements capture, decomposition, and traceability and work on ASIC/FPGA/MPSoC digital architecture development and design.
• You will develop RTL design code and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
• You will create testcases and test procedures for verification environments using SystemVerilog or VHDL.
• You will create placement and timing constraints and you will perform synthesis, place and route.
• You will perform static timing analysis, linting analysis, LEC, and clock-domain-crossing analysis and perform ASIC/FPGA/MPSoC verification using inspection, analysis, simulation, and test methods.
• You will work on the creation of DO-254 certification artifacts for Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH).

• Experience with data interfaces (PCIe, DDR, I2C, Ethernet, CDN, ARINC-429, etc.).

Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
