Job summary

Prairie Band, LLC’s Get Volts team is hiring two Electrical Foremen for our Prairie Band LLC Travel Plaza outside Mayetta, KS. The role oversees installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Leaders will guide electrical technicians, coordinate schedules, review blueprints, and mentor junior team members. Temporary position 6–9 months with field duties on site.

Qualifications

• Must possess Electrical Journeyman Certification or equivalent licensure.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes.
• Must have previous experience in construction electrical installation.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.

Description

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Must ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Electrical foreman must provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, coordinating tasks and schedules to meet project deadlines. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance with electrical codes and standards. Communicates effectively with Project Managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns. Mentor and train junior team members, promoting skill development and professional growth within the team. US Citizenship is required for this opportunity. Requirements

• Mut have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and good driving record in order to operate company vehicles


• Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests (background and drug screen)


• Must be willing to work extended and varied shifts as required.


• Must be able to climb stairs, lift. bend, kneel frequently and stand for long periods.


• Must be able to lift up 50 lbs.


• Must be able to provide any licenses/certifications
