CoolSys in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems across commercial and industrial settings. You will work with high- and low-voltage equipment, read plans, and ensure compliance with codes while supporting a busy service team.

This role offers competitive hourly pay ($35–$55/hr DOE) with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and a productive, safety‑minded environment across diverse projects

Qualifications

4–7 years work experience as an electrician.
Electrician apprenticeship completed.
License as a Journeyman or Electrician preferred.
High School Diploma required; trade/technical classes preferred.
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations.
Ability to work with a crew.

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment in compliance with codes.
Operates electrical testing equipment to locate faults and determine malfunction types.
Studies plans and specifications to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs or installations.
Repairs and maintains high voltage systems.
Trains and supervises apprentices.
Troubleshoots and tests emergency generators and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.
Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
Repairs and maintains high voltage systems.
Trains and supervises apprentices.
Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs emergency generators and various electrical systems and power distribution systems to ensure that they are working properly.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

4 ? 7 years work experience as an electrician.
Electrician apprenticeship.
License as a Journeyman or Electrician preferred to meet state requirements.
A High School Diploma is required; prefer some trade or technical school classes.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Knowledge of electrical applications for high and low-voltage electric systems.
Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.
Ability to work with a crew.
Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of commercial construction industry-related products and tools.
Skill in both verbal and written communication.
