Job summary

Power Design is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field teams on complex electrical projects. You will oversee scope, manage materials and manpower, ensure safety, quality and timely delivery while mentoring crew and collaborating with the project superintendent.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of leadership on multimillion-dollar electrical projects, holds a valid journeyman or master electrician license, and demonstrates strong NEC knowledge and basic

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects for an electrical contractor.
• Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
• Basic computer and writing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity, accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the assigned scope in collaboration with the project superintendent and other trades.
• Manage materials and manpower to meet project goals.
• Enforce and promote high safety and quality standards.
• Mentor, supervise and motivate crew members on the designated scope.
• Utilize company-provided technology (iPad, smartphone) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

About The Position…

The electrical foreman is a critical leadership role with a significant impact on the success of a project, ensuring that we maintain a high level of quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Foremen at Power Design not only have access to innovative technologies in the field – including fully-equipped iPads – they also travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility for customized training courses at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

• Working closely with project superintendent and other trades, oversee the assigned scope, including the management of material and manpower.


• Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards.


• Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations.


• Supervise, mentor and motivate employees working on designated scope.


• Competitive salary range: 70k-125k
