Job summary

Corbins, part of Nox Group, seeks a dedicated Foreman with a strong electrical background to oversee daily project operations in Austin, TX. You will coordinate production, safety, quality control, and administration while guiding field teams, subcontractors, and professionals to ensure smooth project execution.

Ideal candidates have deep electrical construction experience, read blueprints confidently, and uphold NEC/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction experience.
• Must read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes and OSHA safety standards.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities on assigned projects including Production, Scheduling, Safety, Quality Control, and Administration with reporting to the Projects Superintendent.
• Lead development of a project plan using Corbins Project Plan Development Guidelines.
• Track production for assigned construction projects.
• Collaborate with Field Support (Purchasing, Prefabrication, Virtual Construction) to maintain project flow.
• Promote Corbins positively with customers, trade partners, subcontractors, and other professionals.
• Ensure professional resolution of escalated field issues and customer satisfaction.
• Identify prefabrication opportunities and develop project kitting plans.

Responsibilities

• As the Foreman, you will direct the daily activities on assigned projects and manage all aspects of Production, Scheduling, Safety, Quality Control, and Administration while reporting directly to the projects Superintendent
• Lead the development of a comprehensive project plan utilizing the Corbins Project Plan Development Guidelines
• Execute production tracking for assigned construction projects
• Collaborate with Field Support team including Purchasing, Prefabrication, and Virtual Construction to maintain project flow
• Promote Corbins in a positive light at all times when dealing with customers, trade partners, subcontractors, and other industry professionals
• Ensure professional resolution of escalated field related issues and customer satisfaction
• Identify project prefabrication opportunities and develop project kitting plan

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of construction, electrical work, systems, and troubleshooting
• Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and OSHA safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• 5+ years of Electrical Construction experience

**An OSHA-30 card is required for this role. Corbins will provide training for you to obtain this if you do not currently have it**

• The inherent responsibilities of your role may include physical working conditions. In order to safely and successfully perform job duties you must be able to:
• Potentially lift up to 50 pounds
• Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing
• Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
