Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA 2 or equivalent) to join our Electrical Power Services team. The role involves safe installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment at customer sites, with about 25% travel and collaboration with a crew.

You will collect data, prepare field service reports, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure compliance with NFPA70E standards. Offers base hourly pay with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electrical testing experience.
• Able to work in a team and on projects.
• Familiar with NFPA70E electrical safety standards.
• Knowledge of lockout/tag-out and hazardous energy control.
• Must have a clean driving record and be drug-free.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data.
• Assign work on projects and ensure consistency across technicians.
• Maintain and test high-, medium-, and low-voltage equipment.
• Document test results and complete field reports.
• Rotate emergency on-call duties and ensure regulatory compliance.
