Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Field General Foreman in Orlando for an established electrical contractor. The role requires leading crew, coordinating with managers, clients, and subcontractors, and ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Competitive pay and full benefits are offered. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of experience as a Foreman on construction projects, with strong communication and scheduling skills, and the ability to guide field staff and ensure quality and schedule

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years experience on construction projects in a Healthcare Foreman
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise small to midsized groups
• Good organization, multi-tasking, leadership, and decision-making ability
• Basic computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction methods, sequencing, manpower, materials, equipment, and work schedule.
• Train and manage field staff.
• Manage day-to-day activities of the construction operation through Foremen.
• Create and maintain project schedule with Project Manager.
• Communicate site problems, schedules, and quality issues to PM and owner.
• Monitor safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Mentor Project Associates assigned to the project.
