Job summary

Lexicon, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer with EPC experience to design, lay out, and commission electrical systems for large industrial facilities.

You will collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient electrical solutions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, 7+ years in EPC projects in heavy industry, and proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, and Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including EPC projects in metals/mining/heavy industry.
• Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or equivalent software.
• Solid knowledge of electrical codes and industrial safety standards.
• Experience with 3-phase power distribution, substations, motors, and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and backup systems for industrial facilities.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, cable schedules, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation and compliance with design and safety standards.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE, OSHA, and local codes.
• Recommend and implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical designs.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems into overall plant design.
