Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer II for an 18-month Data Center project in Lubbock, Texas. Earn competitive base pay with the potential for overtime and per diem of up to $150 per day as you collaborate with engineering and construction teams.

You will review drawings, coordinate RFIs and submittals, support field execution, and help prepare as-built turnover and commissioning activities on a fast-growing data center site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience with Data Centers, Industrial, Power Generation, Substations, or Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation and field execution.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, work packages, and turnover documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings and construction documents.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and engineering changes.
• Support field execution and resolve installation issues.
• Track as-built drawings and turnover documentation.
• Assist with commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
• Work directly with engineering, vendors, and subcontractors to keep the project moving.
