Job summary

Procon Consulting is a leading construction management and technology firm focused on program management, project controls, commissioning, and technology. We seek an experienced electrical engineer to support VA project execution on-site at Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, with a PE license preferred and a minimum of six years in related engineering design, construction, or commissioning roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum six years of experience in engineering design, construction, commissioning or related infra projects.
• Experience with electrical distribution, site lighting, life-safety systems and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, shop drawings and contract docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction period services for VA projects and provide onsite electrical engineering support.
• Conduct routine field inspections and document progress, deficiencies, and quality of work.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contract docs, codes and quality requirements.
• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change requests and other docs.
• Provide oversight on electrical distribution, site lighting, life-safety systems and infrastructure.
