Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing seeks an Electrical Factory Inspector to perform surveillance inspections of factories and ensure compliance with certification standards. The role requires up to 100% travel and a willingness to work a hybrid schedule with regular on-site and remote tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a STEM degree, knowledge of electronics, and a clean driving record. Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Two-year or four-year STEM degree is required.
• Knowledge of electronics; electronics certification is preferred but not required.
• Willing to travel 90–100% and able to rent a car.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Clean driver record and ability to obtain a passport if needed.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance inspections of factories to ensure continued compliance with certification.
• Follow-up with factories to restore compliance if a variance is found.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Electrical Factory Inspector (Remote/Travel)

Primary Tasks/Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance inspections of factories to assure products remain in compliance with conditions of granted certification.
2. Follow-up with factories to bring certification back in compliance if a non-approved variance is found
3. Other duties assigned by management.

Basic Minimum Education Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or four-year college degreerelated to STEM

• Knowledge of electronics
• Certification in Electronics, ideal but not required
• Willing to travel - This position requires 90% - 100% travel
• Able to rent a car
• Willing to work overtime and remote
• Cannot be on any no fly list
• Clean driver record
• Have a passport or be able to get a passport
• US Resident
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
