Collier Electrical Corp is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator/Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial projects from bid to handover in New Britain, CT, with projects throughout Connecticut. This dual‑threat role lets you manage budgets, coordinate field workflows, and drive profitability while upholding a family‑oriented culture.

You will read blueprints, estimate labor and materials with industry software, oversee procurement and scheduling, and ensure compliance with NEC

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in electrical estimating or project management.
• Experience as an electrician.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Proficient in electrical estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, leadership, and multi-project management.

Responsibilities

• Formulate accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Direct commercial and industrial projects from award through final inspection.
• Analyze plans and specs to submit competitive bids.
• Coordinate procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor workflows.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, and progress reporting.
• Build relationships with clients, vendors, staff, and inspectors.
• Enforce NEC codes and safety standards.
