Job summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. in Chandler, Arizona, seeks an Electrical Estimator to drive winning construction estimates, collaborate with field teams, and deliver high-quality bids that reflect our culture of excellence.

You will lead estimates, interpret drawings, and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to align with project goals and schedules. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and proactive pursuit planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience or equivalent.
• 4 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating; 6 months on-site preferred.
• Led pursuits valued up to $25 million across delivery methods.
• General construction knowledge: specs, drawings, materials, methods.
• Solid bid preparation, quantity takeoff, and pricing understanding.
• Experience with estimating software and MS Office; adaptable to new tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium estimates or components of large estimates and review bid documents.
• Interpret contract documents and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Ensure full quantity takeoffs of labor, equipment, and materials from documents.
• Populate tender forms, issue RFIs, and assist in pursuit scheduling.
• Identify risks and opportunities from contract terms and market conditions.
• Support bid document control and transfer information to the project team.
• Mentor and coach indirect reports; collaborate with stakeholders and subtrades.
