Vision Electric & Systems in St. Louis, MO seeks an Estimator (Electrical) to prepare lump-sum bids, unit costs, and quantities for a diverse project portfolio. This full-time role involves collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop accurate estimates and proposals from start to finish.

The Estimator will review drawings, specs, and subcontractor quotes, ensure compliance with standards, and support value engineering and pricing analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of direct project estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop accurate estimates.
• Interface with procurement to align estimates with project goals.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and historical data to improve accuracy.
• Prepare and deliver lump-sum bids and proposal packages.
• Review subcontractor proposals and RFPs for compliance.
• Support value engineering and price analyses.
