Job summary

Stapleton Electric Co. in Cleves, Ohio, is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare complete bids for commercial and industrial projects, from pre-bid walkthrough to customer submission. This role requires strong estimating skills and attention to detail.

Local travel in SW Ohio, SE Indiana and Northern KY areas is expected. The ideal candidate has experience with estimating methods, familiarity with Accubid, and working knowledge of electrical installation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in estimating and project management.
• Familiar with Accubid and Microsoft software.
• Working knowledge of electrical installation and estimating techniques.
• Ability to perform detailed work and meet deadlines.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Provide a complete bid from pre-bid walkthrough to submission.
• Request clarification and gather information during bid process.
• Update costs based on new information and scope changes.
• Collect and analyze all project costs: material, labor, equipment, tooling.
• Aid the job foreman in completing the job as bid.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.

Travel: Local

Compensation:
Competitive Base Salary (dependent on experience) plus Bonus, Company Car and Company gas card.
