A well-established and growing electrical contractor in the Miami, FL area is currently seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering a dynamic work environment, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical estimating and proven experience using estimating software.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects (healthcare, hospitality, data centers, institutional, and more).

· Perform detailed quantity take-offs and analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.

· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to understand project requirements and scopes of work.

· Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.

· Participate in value engineering and cost-saving analysis.

· Maintain and organize historical cost data and estimate documentation.

· Assist in bid strategy meetings and provide post-bid support as needed.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial construction industry.

· Proficiency in Accubid estimating software is a plus.

· Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC code, and commercial construction methods.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.
