Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an Electrical Estimating Engineer to support major nationwide projects from its Manhattan, NY hub. The role partners with General Contractors, equipment manufacturers, and internal teams to deliver cost-effective electrical equipment solutions for high-profile construction efforts.

The position focuses on technical estimating, bid package development, submittal coordination, and stakeholder communication throughout the procurement lifecycle, with a hybrid office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical-related field required.
• 2+ years in electrical estimating or related construction roles preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and design documents.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical specs and drawings to develop equipment takeoffs and scope definitions.
• Build budgets and estimates for electrical systems across diverse projects.
• Coordinate bid packages with vendors and contracting teams.
• Coordinate with engineers and subs for equipment compatibility and submittals.
