Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Engineering Technician to troubleshoot and maintain a major production line. You will investigate electronic failures, fabricate and recalibrate testers, cables, and fixtures, and analyze schematics to identify root causes.

Ideal candidates will hold a 2-year technical degree with troubleshooting experience, be able to solder, read schematics, and obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree with at least 1 year of electronic troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read electronic schematics.
• Ability to solder and be certified to J-STD.
• Organized and task oriented.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Military Standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain a major production line.
• Designs and fabricates prototype test stations and fixtures.
• Repair and recalibrate production testers, cables, and test fixtures.
• Analyze schematics and determine root causes of failures.
• Train technicians and production staff on test procedures and changes.
