Job description

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Position would put the candidate into all aspects of machine controls, process and product testing. Be a part of a dynamic engineering team driving the market of automatic machinery for wire, cable, tubing and fiber optics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in machine controls, process, and product testing.
  2. Collaborate with an engineering team on automatic machinery projects.

Qualifications:

  1. Background in electrical control systems for industrial machinery.
  2. Working knowledge of programmable controllers, HMIs, AC/DC variable speed drives, servo drives, sensors, schematics for control panels, and AutoCAD preferred.
  3. Industrial experience and wire and cable process knowledge a plus.
  4. Some travel for startup of systems is required.
  5. A minimum of an associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology is required.
