Job summary

Bridge Neurotech, Inc. seeks an Electronics Lead to own the architecture and delivery of the company’s custom ultrasound hardware electronics.

You will drive system partitioning, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, bring-up, and validation for high-speed multi-rail systems. You’ll interface with ASICs, write Python for bring-up and test automation, and collaborate with embedded systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on board-level design experience through production or production-equivalent builds.
• Experience with high-speed digital board design: multi-gigabit links, impedance control, SI/PI analysis.
• Design of power delivery systems: switching regulators, multi-rail architectures, sequencing, thermal management.
• Familiarity with ASICs and interfacing at register level.
• Ability to write embedded Python for bring-up and test automation.
• Experience with consumer electronics or high-volume products prioritizing manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end electronics architecture for Bridge’s imaging hardware.
• Design and deliver boards with multi-gigabit serial links, ensuring SI, impedance, and layout quality.
• Architect watts-class power delivery with multi-rail regulation and thermal management.
• Interface with ultrasound ASICs and analog front-ends, driving vendor relationships.
• Co-define hardware/software boundary with Embedded Systems Lead; write firmware as needed.
• Build Python-based bring-up, characterization, and automated test tooling for each revision.
• Lead board bring-up, debugging, vendor management, and design reviews.
• Mentor the R&D Engineer and review schematics, layouts, and test methodology.
• Lay the documentation and design-control groundwork for regulated environment development.
