Job summary

EKFox & Associates, Ltd. invites an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027 to contribute to facilities design projects for commercial and government clients.

You will gain hands-on experience in Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and Telecommunications systems, with exposure to state-of-the-art design tools like AutoCAD and a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Be open minded and a problem-solver.
  • Proactive and able to learn about and support the design and specification of Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and Telecommunications systems for commercial and government clients.
  • Intrigued by the Architectural Design process and want to spend the summer better understanding it.
  • Moderate and above fluency with design software such as AutoCad.

Responsibilities

  • Experience a thorough orientation to all aspects of the company.
  • Gain an opportunity to do what you do best everyday.
  • Be exposed to some of the most challenging engineering design efforts, locally and globally.
  • Utilize some of the latest technology in the industry.

  • Intrigued by the Architectural Design process and want to spend the summer better understanding it.
  • Have moderate and above fluency with design software such as AutoCad.
