Job summary

Commonwealth Associates, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support substation design tasks in power transmission and distribution.

You will participate in drawing development and collaborate with various departments to gain hands-on industry experience. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering program and eligible to work in the United States, with a strong interest in growing professionally in a multidisciplinary engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and develop substation drawings for power transmission and distribution systems.
• Develop, prepare, and modify substation drawings, including A/C diagrams, D/C schematics, and logic and functional diagrams.
• Enrichment opportunities with other departments.
• Other work, as assigned.
