STV is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Boston, MA. This hybrid internship offers undergrad and graduate candidates a chance to learn from experienced engineers on meaningful projects.
This role requires three in-office days per week and a minimum three-month commitment. You will support building and facility electrical design, field surveys, CAD work, schematics, power and lighting systems, and coordination with trades.
STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months.
In this role, you will support and be mentored in all aspects of building and facility electrical design, ranging from field surveys, calculations, computer aided design (CAD), equipment selection, coordination with trades, maintaining client standards and relations, and other fundamentals of engineering and business. Current projects include public transit terminals and transportation maintenance facilities; municipal buildings such as public work facilities; and light commercial / retail.
