Job summary

Plansee Group USA in Towanda, PA, is seeking an Electrical Engineering co-op/intern to work on plant engineering projects, read electrical drawings, and assist with design activities. You will learn NEC requirements, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks, collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operations teams, and contribute to equipment reliability and safety.

Internship available for summer 2027, 3–6 months, hourly position open to full-time students with a minimum 3.0 GPA and U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree.
• Interest in power systems, industrial electrical design, automation, controls, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Assist with engineering calculations and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment reliability and system performance.
• Learn and apply NEC requirements and PLC/HMI concepts.
