Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Mansfield, OH. The role supports predictive and preventive maintenance, reads blueprints, and helps design and improve equipment performance under supervision.

Students pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering or related fields, who are sophomores by 2027, will gain exposure to industry leaders and may be considered for future full-time roles upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BS program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Completion of at least sophomore year by Summer 2027.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and/or perform predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance of equipment.
• Research, design, evaluate, install, modernize, redesign, operate, maintain, and repair machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.
• Analyze operating performance and propose improvements.
• Support planning, scheduling, and cost control for maintenance/engineering projects.
