Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern to assist the product development team in hardware design, testing, and documentation. You will gain hands-on experience with electrical and embedded systems in an industrial coating setting.

You will work with engineers to create schematics, test hardware, and contribute to new product development while learning company standards and safety procedures in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program and returning to school following the internship.
• Previous internship, project, laboratory, or co-op experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and validation of electronic hardware and system components.
• Assist in creating and updating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Participate in lab testing, data collection, and analysis of electrical and embedded systems.
• Help troubleshoot electrical hardware and software-related issues under supervision.
• Assist with prototype assembly, equipment setup, and product evaluations.
• Document test results and prepare technical reports; participate in design reviews.
