Job summary

fab2 is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns for the winter term starting January. You will work with engineers to develop lithography systems, deposition tools, vacuum chambers, and nanometer precision motion control, delivering solutions that advance IC manufacturing.

We value hands-on builders who ship functional hardware quickly, and portfolios showing built projects. The internship offers housing stipend, meals, learning opportunities, visa sponsorship, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering and circuit design.
• Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Hands-on prototyping experience and rapid design iteration.

Responsibilities

• Design PCBAs and electrical systems for our machines, including bring-up, testing, integration and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and process teams to gather system requirements.
• Investigate optimal design approaches and perform simulations to evaluate electrical designs and component choices.
