Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, or calibration concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively within cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and accountability for technical accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to operate in a dynamic, agile environment supporting engineering and lab operations.
• Part-time availability: 15–20 hours per week during fall term, on-site in Liberty Lake.

Responsibilities

• Support development of a calibration data baseline for test chambers and related electrical systems with a customer-centric focus.
• Assist in establishing standardized calibration processes and documentation.
• Contribute to defining and maintaining calibration intervals.
• Collaborate with engineering, lab operations, and maintenance teams for chamber updates, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Assist in analyzing calibration results and identifying opportunities for improvements.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs for audits and performance tracking.
• Support ongoing system monitoring and updates to ensure optimal equipment performance.
