Emerson is seeking an Engineer in Development for its three-year Engineering Development Program (EDP) in the United States. Based in Elyria, OH or Rockford, IL, you will rotate through Hardware Design, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, and Data Science to build critical skills while collaborating with peers and management.

You will participate in product development, sustainability initiatives, and research, with opportunities to design new tools and market applications for customers.

We are looking for an Engineer in Development, with an opportunity to have a significant impact on the Professional Tools business. The Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a three-year development program designed to provide a range of development opportunities, focused on engineering, to help recent university graduates build critical skills as they gain a well-rounded experience within our organization. These structured experiences will expose participants to several elements of our development process and provide real opportunities to collaborate with other employees and management, receive mentoring, gain multi-functional experience, and receive formal training. Rotational assignments include Hardware Design, Embedded Systems Development, Software Engineering, and Data Science.

This role, based in Elyria, OH, or Rockford, IL, will collaborate with very hardworking individuals dedicated to revolutionizing the industry! You’ll apply the latest technologies, equipment, and research facilities to bring your ideas to life. Your responsibilities will consist of product development, sustainability, and research.
