Job summary

GE HealthCare is offering a 12-month Electrical Engineering Co-op in Waukesha, WI. You will work with a premium CT hardware engineering team on hands-on projects, including prototyping, data acquisition, and testing of CT scanner components.

We seek students enrolled in Electrical Engineering or related fields, available for 20 hours/week during school terms or 40 hours/week in the summer. Onsite work at our Waukesha facility is required, with mentorship and real-world engineering exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an EE/related degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's).
• Available to work minimum 20 hours/week spring/fall or 40 hours/week summer.
• Able to work onsite at Waukesha, WI facility.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Solder prototypes and build test fixtures.
• Set up and run data acquisition for tests.
• Use electrical test equipment to evaluate designs.
• Document test results; troubleshoot electronics.
• Prototype and redesign circuits to improve CT scanners.
• Run experiments to support root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate software/hardware and implement improvements.
• Communicate findings to improve system performance.
• Assist in creating engineering/manufacturing docs.
• Adhere to EHS and quality policies.
