North Star BlueScope invites students to join its Electrical Engineering Co-Op at the Ohio Delta plant. This onsite, part-time program provides hands-on plant work, mentorship from a seasoned engineer, and exposure to manufacturing operations while you balance coursework.

You’ll gain real project experience, emphasize safety, and develop professional skills through structured training and collaboration with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an approved degree program with a status of a sophomore level or equivalent.
• Accumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Acceptance and appreciation of our safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrical Engineering projects with hands-on tasks in the plant environment.
• Collaborate with mentors and team members on engineering activities.
• Adhere to safety procedures and contribute to a safe work culture.
