Job summary

Donohue & Associates seeks an electrical engineer to support planning, design, and construction-related services for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. You will engage with clients and apply pragmatic solutions to meet project needs.

The role covers power distribution through 34.5 kV, MCC design, specifications, and cost estimating, with opportunities to work on large facilities across the upper Midwest. Office locations are open.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
• 4+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD; MicroStation experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of electrical design for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Develop low and medium power distribution, motor control, grounding, and lighting designs.
• Prepare specifications and assist with construction cost estimates.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline project teams and clients.
