Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking an experienced Engineer IV to support the development and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects throughout Florida, including solar generation and battery energy storage systems.

This role provides technical leadership from project initiation through construction and commissioning, collaborating with project managers, contractors, consultants, and operations to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of engineering experience in utility, energy, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting large capital projects through design and construction phases.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs, calculations, and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review designs, specs, drawings, submittals, and contractor deliverables.
• Support development, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Serve as technical liaison between consultants, contractors, PMs, and operations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction and verify compliance with requirements.
