Job summary

UL Solutions in Northbrook, IL seeks a technically adept project handler for product testing and certification support. You will coordinate testing, advise clients, and ensure UL standards compliance throughout the certification process.

Responsibilities include defining project scope, planning investigations, communicating with clients, and coordinating lab activities. Fresh graduates welcome; travel may be involved. Training provided; U.S. work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Open to fresh graduates and candidates with experience.
• Approximately 0–2+ years of experience.
• Customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Training will be provided.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Determines project scope, preliminary plan, and specifications by analyzing client input and data.
• Projects may include travel to client sites to conduct or witness tests.
• Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, costs, and timelines.
• Coordinates laboratory activities and schedules technicians and engineers.
• Provides technical assistance and establishes test programs per UL requirements.
• Reads standards and UL literature to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Prepares data sheets, instructions, and completion dates for labs.
• Represents UL at industry events and follows the Code of Conduct.
