Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is offering an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern position in Los Angeles, CA. The role supports engineering teams with designing electrical systems and learning through the EDT program, with opportunities to visit project sites and participate in lunch-and-learn sessions.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, are at least in their second year, and have basic knowledge of MEP AutoCAD, REVIT, and design software. EIT/FE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical engineering.
• Must be at least a second-year student.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building electrical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.

Internship Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will support our engineering teams working towards our designs that are inspiring, demanding and highly collaborative.
