Job summary

Doosan Bobcat NA US is offering an Electrical Engineer Student Experience for Summer 2027 in Bismarck. The program supports Co-op (8 months, full-time) or Internship (4 months, part-time) to apply your Electrical Engineering studies to real-world projects. You will work on schematics, prototype builds, and QA activities with mentors.

Eligible students are Freshman–Senior pursuing E.E. or equivalent, GPA 3.0+ preferred, and must be able to commit to the term.

Qualifications

• As a freshman to senior you are pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.
• Commit to full-time for eight months (co-op) or four months (internship).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities requested.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Use software tools to develop schematics and harnesses for systems.
• Assist in building prototype machines for new and sustaining systems.
• Participate in quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform Quality Analysis for system and component improvements.
• Develop troubleshooting skills using machine operation, schematics and measurement tools.

Role & Responsibility

Job Requirement

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
• Be able to commit full-time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4-months)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience and other factors.
