Job summary

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, seeks an Electrical Engineer in Dallas, TX. You will design electrical systems for power distribution, create drawings, and perform load calculations to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions that meet customer specs.

Collaboration with purchasing, vendors and manufacturing is essential. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in electrical power systems, strong communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in electrical power systems preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Budgeting and cost containment skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with standard electrical testing equipment and NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE/ANSI codes.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or related design software.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer specifications to create drawings and BOMs for projects within budget.
  • Design single line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams for power distribution.
  • Prepare load calculations for power distribution systems.
  • Coordinate with purchasing/vendors for quotes and lead times.
  • Support production and cross‑functional teams throughout manufacturing.
