Job summary
JEO’s Electrical Department provides expertise in low, medium, and high voltage projects for industrial and municipal clients. The Electrical Engineer will develop electrical design plans, provide on-site inspection services, and review cost estimates and construction quantities to support project success.
The role focuses on Arc Flash, Utility and Industrial Facilities Power Systems, and Substation design, with opportunities to engage in client development and grow within a collaborative team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years' experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience with low or medium voltage projects.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- 4+ years' experience in electrical engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- Electrical distribution system modeling software experience.
- PLS CADD experience.
- Desire to engage in client development and marketing activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design plans and contract documents
- Provide on-site inspection services
- Ensure completeness of the design related forms and reports
- Develop and review cost estimates and calculation of construction quantities
- Oversee layout and/or review plans
